The Bangkok Post reported that yesterday, Oct. 13, His Majesty the King of Thailand passed away. He was a ham, HS1A, and had a ham station, handi-talkies on 2meters, and spoke with Thai hams. He gave his Royal Patronage to the Radio Society of Thailand.
The nation and its over 200,000 licensed hams mourn his loss.
