The World Radiosport Team Championship (WRTC) is a competition between two-person teams of amateur radio operators testing their skills to make contacts with other Amateur Radio operators around the world.

The radiosport has become a very specialised branch of Amateur Radio. A contest radio operator is most often gifted in rather narrow capabilities.

In the past twenty years, a new, informal club of Amateur Radio operators has emerged and grown into an international ring of devotees of the WRTC games.

This is a very unusual case when a small contest club in a small country is represented in the WRTC competition by four members second time in a row. Slovakia is small and not so populous, but in certain fields it is called The Tatra Tiger.
